Kundapur : Unable to repay loan, youth ends life

Kundapur, Dec 31, 2021: A youth who was an employee of a software company in Bengaluru has ended his life at his hometown at Haregodu near Hemmady on Thursday. He has left behind a death note stating that he was ending his life as he was unable to repay the  loan he had availed through a mobile app.

 

The deceased is Vighnesh (24), son  of Sanjeeva and Kanaka couple. In his death note he had revealed his inability to repay the loan. He had also apologised and also asked his family to inform his employer.

It is learnt Vighnesh who was working from home during the pandemic had last year opened a footwear wholesale showroom near Brahmavar along with his friends and had availed loan  for the same. However as the new venture did not yield revenue as expected he could not repay his loan.
