Kundapur: Medical officer booked for sexually harassing junior colleague

Kundapur, June 01, 2024: An attempt to rape case has been registered against Dr Robert Rebello, Medical Officer of the Kundapur Government Hospital based on a complaint by a lady doctor working in the hospital.

 

The 32 year old complainant doctor who is married, has in her complaint said Dr Rebello used to sexually harass her during the past six months and even threatened her if she did not co-operate. She also said the accused used to send obscene messages to her phone. The complainant has been working in the hospital on a contract basis since six months.

Locals have demanded arrest of the accused medical officer who faced allegations even in the past too. The accused medical officer has so far not reacted to the allegations against him.
