Kundapur: Elderly citizen dies in bike-car collision

Kundapur, July 31, 2023: An elderly citizen who was riding a bike lost his life after a car rammed into his two-wheeler at Kalavara near Koteshwara on July 30, Sunday evening.

 

The deceased person is Narasimha Shetty (75), a local resident. It is said the mishap occurred as Shetty all of a sudden entered the Koteshwara-Halady main road forcing the car driver to apply sudden brake. The car then went out of control of the driver and stopped after hitting a pole. Shetty who sustained serious injuries though was rushed to the hospital, his life could not be saved.
