Kundapur: Duo arrested for cattle smuggling

Kundapur, Nov 12, 2022: Police have arreted two persons  in a case pertaining to cattle trafficking. The  police intercepted a pick-up vehicle near the Arate bus stand on NH 66 on November 11, Friday and  and found that cattle was being smuggled in the vehicle in an inhuman manner.

 

Two men namely Joseph D’Souza and Usman who were in the vehicle have been arrested. Another accused Shekhar Shetty managed to escape.

Gangolli police are investigating the case.
