Kundapur: Accident claims life of young journalist

 Kundapur, Oct 30, 2013: A young journalist lost his life in a road accident involving his two-wheeler and a bus at Vakwady near Kundapur on October 29, Tuesday.

The deceased is Vishnu Shettigar Vakwady(29) who worked for ‘Abhimatha,’ a local  media house. He hailed from Hoovinakere and worked for Abhimatha since four years.

The mishap took place when a bus operating on the Kundapur-Belur route collided head-on with Vishnu’s bike. Vishnu died on the spot. A bachelor, Vishnu is survived by his parents and a sister.

Kundapur traffic police have registered a case.
