
Kundapur, Aug 10, 2013 : Kundapur Crime Branch cops have nabbed four persons on the charges of stealing cattle by brandishing weapons from a place near Anegudde, Kumbhashi recently.

The four were initially arrested by the Karwar police in connection with some other case. That they were involved in the Anegudde theft case too came to light during interrogation when they were brought to Byndoor.
The arrested are Azharuddin of Uchila, Sauhad,Mohammed Mustaq and Mohammed Shahid, residents of Pakeeranakatte. They were also wanted in several other crime cases, police said.
Of the four, Azharuddin was once earlier trapped red handed by the police during cattle theft at Koni. He was later released on bail.
The police have also seized a Maruti Omni and a sword belonging to the accused. They have been produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
