Kulshekar parish bids good-bye to assistant parish priests

Mangalore, June 3, 2012:The people of Kulshekar parish organized a farewell party on June 3, Sunday at 7:20 a.m. on the premises of Holy Cross Church for Fr. John Baptist Moras and Fr. Melwyn Noronha, assistant parish priests.

Fr. John Baptist Moras has been transferred to Bendoor parish and Fr. Melwyn Noronha has been transferred to Belthangady parish. Rev. Fr. Valerian Pinto, parish priest, and Praveen Patrao, vice president of the parish pastoral council, felicitated the two priests.

 

 

 

 

 

 

In his address, the parish priest thanked the two assistant priests for serving the parish well. Sushil Noronha and Victor Vas, both former vice presidents of the council, read the citation.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Moras and Fr. Noronha thanked the members of the parish council, the parish priest, and the members of the parish for helping them serve the parish.

A thanksgiving mass marked the end of the farewell ceremony.
