The water entering the temple premises caused considerable inconvenience to devotees visiting Kukke Subrahmanya for darshan and other rituals. The heavy rain also led to waterlogging and other disruptions in the surrounding areas.

However, rainfall eased on Wednesday, with sunny conditions prevailing in the region. As a result, the water level in the Darpana Theertha river has receded considerably.
