Kudkadi dacoity case: Six accused arrested

Puttur, Sep 29, 2023: Six persons have been arrested in connection with the September 7 incident of dacoity in a house at Kudkadi in Badagannur Gram Panchayat limits.

 

 

The theft had occurred in the house of former member of Badagannur Gram Panchayat Guruprasad Rai. The dacoits had tied down the family members before escaping with valuables.

Those arrested are Sudhir Peruvai, Pachambala Ravi, Kiran, Vasanth, Fasal and Nizar. Of the arrested Ravi has been sentenced to life imprisonment in the Mangaluru Taluk Panchayat President Jabbar murder case. He was out on parole when he committed the dacoity.

Police have seized the stolen gold as well as the car used by the accused.
