Koojimale: Suspected woman is a Rajasthan native; not a Naxalite

Sullia, Mar 29, 2024: A woman who was spotted in Koojimale area and was suspected to be a Naxalite  has turned out to be a native of Rajasthan.

 

The ANF and police had started combing operation in the area upon getting information that a stranger woman was found loitering in the area and had moved towards the forest.

However the security forces later found the woman and learnt that she was a native of Rajasthan and was not associated with naxalite movement.

Kodagu SP said the woman would be interrogated and later shifted to an ashram after providing her requisite medical care.
