Konkan Railway services disrupted due to Mumbai bridge demolition work

Udupi, Apr 4, 2026: Train services on the Konkan Railway route will be disrupted due to demolition work of a railway overbridge between Parel and Currey Road stations in the CSMT–Kalyan Junction section in Mumbai, according to an official release.

Train No. 12134 Express running between Mangaluru Junction and Mumbai CSMT will terminate at Thane station on April 4. Similarly, the Jan Shatabdi Express and Tejas Express operating between Madgaon Junction and Mumbai CSMT will terminate at Panvel station. The return journeys of these trains on April 5 will commence from Panvel.

The Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai CSMT and Madgaon Junction will depart 15 minutes late on April 5, starting at 5:40 am. Several other trains will also witness changes in timings and stoppages, the release added.
