Kasargod’s first woman District Collector, Bhandari Swagath takes charge

Kasargod, Jul 08, 2021: A 2010 batch IAS officer, Bhandari Swagath Ranveerchand has taken charge as the new District Collector of Kasargod District. She will replace Dr D Sajith Babu, the incumbent DC who has been posted as Director of the Civil Supplies Department.

 

Bhandari Swagath  is the 24th DC of Kasargod and incidentally is the first woman District Collector to serve the district. She had secured  69th rank in the civil service exam and has earlier served as the Director of the Department of Industries.
