Kasargod : Two teenagers drown in lake

Kasargod, May 19, 2022: Two teenage boys drowned in the  lake at Cherkappara  here on May 18, Wednesday evening.

 

The deceased are Nanda Gopal and Jeeth. Both were 14 years old and were ninth standard students. The mishap occurred when the two had stepped into the waters for a bath. However very soon both got stuck in the sludge and drowned.

Though they were immediately rescued by the fire service personnel and rushed to the hospital, they breathed their last there.
