Kasargod: Twin brothers drown in quarry pond

Kasargod, June 18, 2024: In a tragic incident, twin brothers aged 10 lost their lives after drowning in a stone quarry  at Chimeni Kaniyandala on Monday evening.

The deceased are Sudev and Sridev, sons of Radhakrishna. Both were fifth standard students of Chimeni Government Higher Secondary School. Both the boys were riding bicycles in the afternoon. However when they went missing the family members traced their bicycle near the quarry. Later on they were found floating in the quarry water. Though they were immediately rushed to the hospital, doctors pronounced them dead.
