Kasargod: Teenager found dead; suicide suspected

Kasargod, Mar 21, 2023: In a suspected case of suicide, a teenager was found dead inside her room in her house at Bandadka on March 20, Monday.

 

The deceased is K V Sharanya (17). She was a plus two student of Bandadka Government Higher Secondary School. When Sharanya’s mother returned home from work in the evening, Sharanya was not to be seen and her room was closed.  When the mother peeped through the window she was found dead in a sitting position on the cot. It is being said that she had  hanged herself.

The body has been shifted to the Kannur Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem.
