Kasargod: School bus driver arrested for mishap which claimed 5 lives

Kasargod, Sep 27, 2023: The driver of a school bus has been arrested by the Badiadka police in connection with the September 25 mishap involving the bus and an autorickshaw that claimed the lives of five persons at Pallathadka.

 

The arrested driver is John D’Souza alias Jerry (56). He was the driver of the bus belonging to an English medium school of Manya. All the five people who died in the accident were travelling in the autorickshaw. Luckily there were no students in the bus when the mishap took place.
