Kasargod: Rs 10 lakh worth goods destroyed in fire mishap at house

Kasargod, Sep 01, 2023: A house at Nellikunje suffered damage due to a fire mishap on August 31, Thursday evening.

The mishap occurred in the residence of Shihab when the occupants were away to attend a marriage.

Electronic goods and other valuables worth Rs 10 lakhs were gutted by the time the locals informed the fire service department.

The fire was later doused by the fire service personnel. A short circuit is suspected to be the cause of the fire.
