The historic Nemotsava which remained suspended for several years in the past was re-initiated  in 1994 by the  family of Yenmakaje Vishwanath  Rai  owing to the special interest shown by UAE Exchange COO Sudhir Kumar Shetty in  rebuilding the dilapidated Daivasthana which was destroyed in a fire years ago.

Since times immemorial, Daivas of Tulunadu used to be worshipped in five to six Daiva Banas in  Yenmakaje. This used to be followed by  Bedrampalla cock fighting and  fair for five days and was  one of the major festivals of the region. However, things were not the same for a few decades owing to  rules and regulations of the administration.

But, locals are now  immensely happy that the Pilichamundi and Parivara Daiva Nemotsava  are now being held with grandeur.
