Kasargod : National tri-colour hoisted upside down!

Kasargod, Jan 26, 2022: The Kasargod District Administration as well as officials  had to face ire from the top officials and minister after the National Flag that was hoisted during the Republic Day celebrations at the Municipal Stadium here  flew upside down.

 

Ironically none of the guests including the State Minister for Sports Ahmed Devar Kovil who hoisted the tricolour and other officials noticed it. Finally someone pointed it out after the guard of honour was also over.

The minister who took the issue seriously summoned SP Vaibhav Saxena and Additional SP M K Ramachandran to express his displeasure. An investigation has been ordered by the Additional District Magistrate.
