Kasargod : Mother-daughter meet watery grave

 Kasargod, April 27, 2013 :  A woman and her ten year old daughter  met a watery grave at Beejantadka here on April 26, Thursday afternoon. The deceased are Saraswati (36), wife of Sanjeeva from Kandattodi, and her daughter, Anjana (10). They died in a nearby stream.

The mishap took place when they had been to their ancestral house for Daiva Kola. It is learnt,  Saraswathi drowned in the process of trying to save her daughter Anjana who had stepped into the stream along with her friend and was  washed away.
