There is a suspicion that the containers were  from a ship that might have capsized  off the Salalah Coast  on June 17. The vessel ‘Mol Comfort’ which was on its way to Oman from Singapore had even caught fire after it capsized. The 26 crew on board the ship were however rescued.

As already reported, several goods like refrigerators and football were washed ashore in Kasargod coast and also in Karwar and Lakshadweep shores arousing much curiosity among fishermen as well as local residents.
