Kasargod : Maximum 50 people can attend functions, DC issues orders

Kasargod, Jan 18, 2022: Kasargod Deputy Commissioner Bhandari Swagat has issued an order restricting the number of participants in weddings, funerals, social and cultural events to 50.

 

In a fresh order, the DC said the measure has been taken considering the Covid positivity rate of above 20% in the district.

In case of Covid clusters schools of the respective  areas have been asked to close  for 15 days, she informed.

The DC has also stated that the police and other authorities must ensure there is no rush at market places and tourist places. All programmes and meetings at government level must be conducted online, she informed.

People have to adhere to all Covid protocols while  in public places, she instructed.
