Kasargod, May 23, 2025: A car traveling along the national highway near Bevinje, close to Cherkala, caught fire on Friday, May 23. Fortunately, all five family members inside the vehicle managed to escape unharmed.
The incident occurred when smoke began billowing from the car’s bonnet as it approached Bevinje. The vehicle, a CNG model purchased just about six weeks ago, was en route from Mumbai to Kannapuram in Kannur. It was driven by Iqbal Ahmad of Mumbai, who was accompanied by his wife and children. The family was heading to visit his wife’s brother.
