Kasargod: 14 yr boy meets watery grave in a pond

Kasargod, Sep 13, 2013 : A 14 year old boy named Zaheer Abbas of KK Pura  met a watery grave while swimming in a pond at Talangere on September 11, Wednesday.

Zaheer, son of Mohammad Kunhi and Saudha was a class nine student of  Talangere Government Muslim Vocational Higher Secondary School.

When Zaheer who had left home in the evening, did not return till  7 pm, his family searched for him but in vain.

The next morning his clothes and footwear were found near the pond and the body was retrieved later.

Three fire service personnel who were part of the search mission sustained injuries in the process.
