Kasaragod: Youth dies after falling into well while removing lid from electric wire

Kasaragod, Sep 26, 2025: A tragic incident occurred in Valiyavalappu near Uduma when a young man fell into a well while attempting to remove a lid lying on an electric wire. The deceased has been identified as Ashwin Aravind (18) of Valiyavalappu.

Ashwin reportedly climbed onto the edge of the well to remove the lid from the service wire when he slipped and fell into the well. Firefighters from Kasaragod rescued him and rushed him to the hospital, but doctors confirmed that he had already died.
