Kasaragod: Man arrested for seeking nude photos from schoolgirl on pretext of film offer

Kasaragod, Nov 14, 2025: Police in Beypore, Kozhikode, have arrested Shibin (29), a resident of Katipalla in Kasaragod, for allegedly demanding nude photographs from a Class 10 girl after luring her with the promise of a film role.

The girl reportedly received a phone call in which Shibin introduced himself as a film director and offered her an acting opportunity. He then asked her to send nude photos and later contacted her on WhatsApp with similar demands.

Following a complaint from the girl’s family, the police, with assistance from the cyber wing, traced and arrested the accused.
