Kasaragod: Fatal bike collision near Manjeshwar leaves one dead, another hurt

Kasaragod, Nov 3, 2025: One person was killed and another injured after two two-wheelers collided near Vamanjoor in Manjeshwar on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Gopalakrishna Nalluraya (66), a resident of Paivalike Kalayi. The injured rider, identified as Shivashankara Bhat, has been admitted to a hospital.

The accident occurred when Gopalakrishna, who was on his way for a pooja, was riding his scooter, which collided with another two-wheeler. He was thrown onto the road and sustained severe injuries. Though he was rushed to a hospital in Derlakatte, he succumbed to his injuries.

Gopalakrishna was a farmer and a temple priest. Manjeshwar police have registered a case.
