Karnataka Cabinet approves land for TTD temple at Surathkal

Mangaluru, Sep 19, 2026: The Karnataka Cabinet has approved the allotment of 10 acres of land at Badaga Ekkar in Surathkal to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust for the construction of a Venkateshwara Swamy Temple.

The Cabinet also approved 6.51 acres of land at Navoor in Bantwal taluk for the Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust, Sivagiri, to establish a Gurudharma Pracharana Sabha.

Around 29 cents of land at Belle in Kaup has also been sanctioned for the Sri Gurudharma Pracharana Sabha.

In addition, the Cabinet approved 7.30 acres of land at Nitte village for St Lawrence Church, Athur.

It also sanctioned five cents of land at Kodimbala for the construction of a Congress Bhavan.
