Karkala: Two die as truck loaded with stones overturns

Karkala, May 19, 2024: A tragic accident at Nitte Bhramari Cross in Karkala Taluk resulted in the deaths of two laborers. The incident occurred when a lorry loaded with stones, en route to Mangaluru, overturned after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The deceased have been identified as Kariappa(26) and Nariappa (27), both from Yalaburgi Devalapura in Koppal district.

Karkala Deputy Superintendent of Police, Aravinda Kalagujji, visited the scene of the accident. A case has been filed at the Karkala police station to investigate the incident further.
