Karkala: Short circuit causes fire mishap in Canara Bank branch

Karkala, Aug 03, 2023: A few electrical equipment were damaged due to electric short circuit at the Canara Bank branch near the Karkala bus stand on August 3, Thursday morning. The incident caused anxious moments at the bank for some time.

 

No one was injured and no documents were damaged in the mishap. As soon as the staff sensed the burnt smell and saw the smoke they managed to keep all documents and valuables safe before rushing out.

Fire service personnel who rushed to the spot extinguished the fire.
