Karkala: School Principal booked for hitting student

Karkala, Sept 7, 2023: The Principal of the Gurukula Central School at Bolyottu in Eedu village has been booked on the charges of assaulting a student at the school hostel. A case has been filed at the Karkala Rural Police Station.

It was alleged that on September 2, the Principal Rohith hit a student studying in seventh standard with a stick for reportedly creating a ruckus.

The victim boy and his sibling hailed from Mysuru were studying in the school and were residing in the hostel.
