Karkala: Pick-up vehicle driver dies in collision with private bus

Karkala, Sep 13, 2022: The driver of a pick-up vehicle died in a head-on collision between his vehicle and a private bus at Dugganaraya Chadavu of Hirgana in Karkala taluk on September 12, Monday night.

 

The deceased is Santosh Nayak, a resident of Nellikatte. The private bus was on way to Bengaluru from Hebri when it collided with the pick-up vehicle which was heading towards Nellikatte from Hirgana.

Eyewitnesses said the private bus was speeding resulting in the accident.

Karkala town police have registered a case.
