Karkala: Lokayukta raids MESCOM Accounts Officer Girish Rao’s residence and properties

Karkala, May 31, 2025: The Lokayukta has conducted a raid on the residence of Girish Rao from Hiriyangadi, Karkala, who was serving as an Accounts Officer (AO) at MESCOM, as well as on his properties including the Karkala Inn and Hotel Anagha located at the Pulkery Bypass.

The raid took place early Saturday morning under the leadership of Lokayukta SP Kumarchandra, and officials are inspecting cash, assets, and other documents.
