Karkala: Leopard pounces on moving car

Karkala, April 05, 2024: A car was damaged after a leopard pounced on it while  the vehicle was passing through Kariyakallu Sooralu on the outskirts of the town on Thursday night.

 

The car belonged to Sooryakanth Suvarna of Sooralu. He was on way home when the incident took place. As the car was negotiating a curve, a leopard all of a sudden pounced on the car and then fled.

The car’s bumper was damaged. Luckily the driver did not suffer any injury.
