Karkala : Duo arrested for theft of MESCOM cables

 Karkala, Oct 8, 2013 :  Karkala rural police have arrested two persons on the charges of stealing aluminium cables weighing around 400 kg  belonging to the MESCOM.

It is learnt the duo had stolen the cables  kept in a vacant land near the Sri Hari Electricals at Hosmar.

The accused have been identified as Ibrahim Latif alias Latif (24) of Kashipatna and Haneef (22) of Ballanje in Belthangady. The police who acted on a tip off, apprehended the duo in the Naravi bus stand area.
