Karkala: Bajrangdal leader booked for alleged kidnap of activist’s wife

Moodbidri, Nov 4, 2021: A complaint has been lodged at the Moodbidri Police Station alleging that a Bajrangdal leader of Karkala has abducted the wife of a Bajrangdal activist.

The accused is Sandeep Acharya, Bajagoli Zonal Convenor of Bajrangdal.  It has been alleged that he had kidnapped the wife of Harish, a Bajrangdal activist who is a resident of Hadiyangady in Shirlalu. The woman’s brother had lodged a complaint in this regard.

It has been alleged that the woman was kidnapped by Sandeep while she was on way to her parental home a week ago along with her two year old child.

The police who investigated the case, have traced both the woman and the accused and  the woman has been sent to Prajna Counseling Centre in Mangaluru.
