Kannada movie on ‘St Lawrence’ to be released in Dec

Mangalore, Sep 1, 2013: A Kannada movie on St Lawrence of the famous Attur Church of Karkala  is set to be released in December this year. The movie named ‘"Karkalada Pavaada Purusha St. Lawrence"  highlights the  life and miracles of St Lawrence.

 

Most of the film has been shot in locations in Mangalore, Udupi, Karkala and Bangalore. The 135 minute duration film is expected  to be released in 25 theatres across the state  and also in Goa.

The St Lawrence Church in Attur is visited by lakhs of people of all faiths during the annual fair of the shrine.There is a belief that all the wishes of the  devotees who visit the shrine would be fulfilled.
