Kanhangad man arrested with 3 kg ganja at Mangalore airport

 Mangalore, Nov 13, 2013: A  man hailing from Kanhangad in Kerala was detained at the Mangalore International Airport on November 12, Tuesday by the immigration officials  for possessing three kg of  ganja.

It is learnt, he was about to board the Air India Express flight to Dubai  when he was caught.

The arrested is Abdul  Barish (22).   The ganja was found in three packets weighing one kg each. The value of the seized ganja is estimated at Rs 30,000.

 

Abdul has been produced before the court by the Bajpe police who are investigating the case.
