Kadri police arrest 4 in connection with theft case

Mangalore, June 15, 2012: The Kadri police, on June 14, Thursday, arrested four people on grounds of being involved in a theft case. 

A gang of thieves had broken into Jashwaruddin’s house on the night of May 12 and had stolen valuables worth more than Rs. 6 lakh. Jashwaruddin had lodged a complaint with the Kadri police.

The arrested are Venkatesh (28), Arun Shanmugam Shetty (22), Kiran (20), and Murugesh (20). 

The police arrested the four in Kadri and seized a laptop, a digital camera, a handycam, a mobile phone, gold ornaments, three watches, and a bike from them. Since the police did not find any documents related to the bike, one cannot say if the bike is stolen or not. 

Inspector (crime branch) H. Venkatesh Prasanna, SI Vishwanath Kunjattoor, and police officers Yashwanth, Seenappa Poojary, Veerabhadra, Prakash, and others cracked this case.
