Kadiyali’s "Traffic Sahebru" is no more

Udupi, June 23,2017 : T S Aboobakker of Kadiyali  who was well known as Traffic Sahebru passed away  at his residence at Kadiyali here on June 23, Friday.

Aboobakker got the name of Traffic Sahebru, thanks to his act of great kindness and compassion  in helping students of Kadiyali school to  cross the road  during peak hours in  the morning and evening  when the Kadiyali-Kalsanka road was narrow.

It was his great love for children that made him   take up this task.

 Aboobakker  had also been  felicitated by several organisations for his kind act.

The Police Department had even  entrusted him with the special authority to regulate traffic in Kadiyali Junction.

Family sources said  Aboobakker was ailing since some time.
