Kadaba illegal cattle transport: One arrested, another escapes

Kadaba, Apr 3, 2026: Police from Kadaba have arrested one person and seized 18 cattle in connection with an illegal transport case.

The arrested accused has been identified as Akram Pasha, a native of Hosur.

Acting on credible information that cattle were being illegally transported from Hassan to Kerala in a container vehicle, Kadaba police intercepted the vehicle at Kanvare in the early hours of Friday and conducted a check. During inspection, about 18 cattle were found being transported illegally.

A police team led by Sub-Inspector Jamburaj Mahajan arrested one person, while another accused managed to escape, police said.
