Kadaba: Man injured in wild elephant attack

Kadaba, May 29, 2023: A man was injured in a wild elephant attack near the Nadumane Cross at Ichlampady in Kadaba taluk on May 28, Sunday.

The injured person is Viju Kumar. He was on way to work when the elephant  attacked him. Vijukumar was admitted to a hospital in Puttur after initial treatment at the Government Hospital at Kadaba.

 

Local residents say two wild elephants have been found roaming in the area.  Pilgrims visiting Subrahmanya- Dharmasthala have been asked to exercise caution due to the presence of the wild pachyderms.
