Kadaba: MESCOM lineman dies of electrocution

Kadaba, Jan 06, 2024: A MESCOM lineman died of electrocution at Balpada Pade near Subrahmanya on January 5, Friday.

 

The deceased is Raghu S R (32). He hailed from Hassan district. Raghu had climbed an electric pole for maintenance work when he accidentally came into contact with a live wire resulting in the tragedy.

MESCOM officials and police rushed to the spot. Raghu was working in MESCOM’s Panja section since the past one and a half years.
