Kadaba: Decomposed body of 75-year-old man found inside house

Kadaba, Aug. 14, 2026: The decomposed body of a 75-year-old man was found inside his residence at Sharada Nagar in Ramakunja village of Kadaba taluk on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Sundar Shetty (75), a native of Kimingoli in Alankaru village. He had been residing at Sharada Nagar with his wife. However, as his wife had travelled to Bengaluru, he was alone at the house at the time of the incident.

The matter came to light when local residents noticed a foul smell coming from the house and alerted his elder son, Somasundar Shetty, Chief Executive Officer of Hosa Matha Cooperative Bank.

Preliminary reports suggest that Sundar Shetty may have suffered a heart attack and died several days ago. Further investigation is underway.
