Kadaba: Class 9 student dies by suicide in Renjiladi

Kadaba, Nov 8, 2025: A 14-year-old Class 9 student died by suicide at his residence in Renjiladi under the jurisdiction of Kadaba Police Station on November 6.

The deceased has been identified as Gagan Kumar (14), son of Lakshman Gowda, a driver residing in Khandiga, Renjiladi.

According to sources, Gagan’s father had visited his school earlier that day and was informed about his son’s poor academic performance. After returning home in the evening, Gagan appeared cheerful and spent some time playing before going to his room to study.

When his father called him about ten minutes later and received no response, he forced open the door and found Gagan hanging. He was immediately rushed to the Kadaba Government Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Following a complaint filed by Lakshman Gowda, Kadaba Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
