Kadaba: Businessman ends life by jumping into Kumaradhara river

Kadaba, May 26, 2023: A man has jumped into the Kumaradhara river from the Shantimogaru bridge in Kudmaru village of Kadaba taluk on May 26, Friday.

 

It is learnt, he had tied a balloon around him before jumping into the river. The man who jumped into the river is Chandrashekhar Poojary (60), businessman of Alankaru. He had left home this morning after leaving behind a chit and had parked his car on the Shantimogaru bridge.

Poojary was the former president of Alankar Toddy Tappers Co-operative Society and its present director.

It has been gathered that the body has been retrieved from the river. The reason behind the suicide is not known.
