Mangaluru, May 27, 2025: Mangaluru, Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association in collaboration with Belthangady Taluk Journalists Association will inaugurate various works at Kutluru Government School and hold a school opening ceremony on May 30. The inauguration of the works will be carried out by Chief Minister’s Media Advisor KV Prabhakar, said Srinivas Nayak Indaje, District President of Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists Association, at a press conference.
Chief Minister’s Media Advisor KV Prabhakar has given 2 computers and a projector to this government school through Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He has personally donated pants, t-shirts and school bags to the school students. He has also arranged for paint for the school. He has also said that he will arrange a vehicle to take the school children. The students will honor KV Prabhakar, who has made a huge contribution to this government school, on behalf of everyone.
Kutluru School Development Committee President Ramachandra Bhat will preside over the function.
Meanwhile, a toilet has been constructed at a cost of Rs 8 lakh from the MRPL CSR fund and tiles have been laid in the school rooms at a cost of Rs 8 lakh. Its inauguration will be done by MRPL Group General Manager Krishna Hegde. The school painting will be inaugurated by Dakshina Kannada District Commissioner Dr Anand. The computer room will be inaugurated by Dakshina Kannada District Superintendent of Police Yatish N. The school name plate will be inaugurated by Naravi Gram Panchayat President Rajavarma Jain. The Hasire Usiru program will be implemented by Dharmattana Trust Secretary Veeru Shetty. The electrical system will be inaugurated by Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project Chief Executive Officer Anil Kumar.
BASF India Limited Site Director Srinivas Pranesh, Head of Human Resources Department Santosh Pai, MSE Z Chief Executive Officer Surya Narayan, District Information Officer Khadar Shah, and Mangalore Press Club President PB Harish Rai will participate as the chief guests in the program, he said.
Pictures of tourist attractions and the environment have been painted in the school rooms. The school was painted at a cost of Rs 5 lakh by the Dakshina Kannada District Administration and Zilla Panchayat, said Ramachandra Bhat, President of the Kutluru School Development Committee.
Mangaluru Press Club President PB Harish Rai, Dakshina Kannada District Working Journalists General Secretary Jithedra Kundeswara, Vice President Bhaskar Rai Katta, Treasurer Pushparaj BN, State Executive Committee Member Jagannath Shetty Bala were present in the press conference.
