KSRTC bus rams into two-wheeler at Vagga; student critically injured

Bantwal, Jan 10, 2024: A college student who was on way to college in her two-wheeler was seriously injured after a KSRTC bus hit her vehicle in a bid to overtake another bus at Vagga on January 10, Wednesday.

The injured student Pallavi of Allipade has been admitted to the Fr Muller Hospital in Mangaluru where she is being treated in the ICU.

The mishap occurred when two buses on way to Mangaluru from Dharmasthala were overspeeding. Reckless driving is said to be the cause of the accident. The injured girl is a student of Vamadapadavu college.
