Jyothi Guruprasad from Karkala bags Sahitya Parishat Endowment Award

Karkala, may 30, 2013 : Jyothi Guruprasad, a noted poetess as well as columnist from Karkala has bagged the State Kannada Sahitya Parishat Endowment Award.
She is also the recipient of the International Year of the Woman Endowment award 2012 for the compilation of her writings, ’Joli Lali’ which appeared in Vartha Bharathi Kannada daily. Some other awards won by her include Ha Ma Nayaka Columnist Award, Neelaganga Endowment Award and Niratha Sahitya Award.
