The expert faculty included Dr Anoob John (Amala Hospital, Thrissur), Dr Mahesh Menon (Aster Hospital, Kotakal), and in-house specialist Dr Ganaraj Kulamarva. The first day featured an introductory session, a pre-test, and detailed lectures on Diagnostic EUS, followed by live demonstrations that enabled participants to identify normal and abnormal EUS anatomy in real-time cases.

Day two focused on advanced procedures, including EUS-guided fine-needle aspiration (FNA) and fine-needle biopsy (FNB), explained by Dr John, and rapid onsite evaluation techniques, presented by Dr Sunil Kumar Yeshwant. Delegates observed and performed 16 Diagnostic EUS and six EUS-FNA-FNB cases under expert guidance.
